Each year, LISD requires that all volunteers re-apply to be approved for the coming school year. Anyone who plans to participate in ANY school activity must apply to be an LISD Volunteer through LISD's new EZ Communicator Volunteer Management System. We ask this for the safety of our children.
For the safety of our students, Leander ISD requires all potential volunteers who plan to work at any campus to receive a national background check.
How to become an LISD Volunteer:
1. Complete and submit the "New" EZ Communicator Volunteer Application:
2. The background check should be complete in 2-3 business days.
3. Once approved, an email will be sent to the volunteer using the email they applied with. Please take note of login credentials when you apply as these will be used to access your profile one approved.
